Inception loses some of its kick upon a second viewing primarily due to your knowing what wonders are about to befall you. That said, the sheer scale or the piece and the labyrinth nature of its impeccable narrative will continue to impress for many future viewings. This time, with a greater knowledge of the workings of Nolan’s world, I was able to lie back and bask in the glow of its awesomeness.
I hope that in the years to come, this will be remembered as Chris Nolan’s crowning achievement. Unless Batman 3 or any project he decides to do afterwards manages the same level of excellence, he will never better himself with the marvel he has presented here. The achievement, in all it’s mind bending glory, is truly staggering.
