Film: Syriana (Stephen Gaghan, 2005)
To understand Syriana, you must first take a degree in mathematics as the plot of so dense and complicated that you are guaranteed to get lost. Whilst the film is admirable in many aspects with the cast on top form and the subject matter of greed and corruption being somewhat apt, it really is confusing at times, demanding a level of attention from its audience that is nigh on impossible. I even had to read up the synopsis on Wikipedia just to confirm if I had it sussed.
This is definitely a movie for adults. Anyone under the age of 40 will be lost completely.
