Not much else to say here that hasn’t already been said. Heat with costumes, The Dark Knight is the all time masterpiece of the superhero genre. Only two years old, it has already ingrained itself deep into popular culture, with Ledger’s breathtaking performance as The Joker already marked as one of the finest screen villains in film.
Despite the fact that every superhero threequel to date has taken a drastic nose dive from the quality of their predecessors, I am very excited to hear Nolan along with his brother Jonathan are penning their third and concluding film in the series.
In the interim, there’s always Inception to look forward to.
