Friday the 13th: Part III (Steve Miner, 1982)

I think the main reason I’ve failed to like a Friday the 13th movie so far is mainly because I find them thoroughly uninteresting. A Nightmare on Elm Street and Saw both have interesting and fairly unique ideas behind them where as Friday has a big dumb retard cutting up teenagers in generic and unimaginative ways.

Whilst I enjoyed this threequel more than any of the other Fridays I’ve seen in the series (the added 3D was kinda fun) it doesn’t make me any more of a Jason fan. I will no doubt see the rest of them in time and will no doubt be disappointed by them all.

Not a bad effort, but hardly setting the world on fire. At least the final girl seems genuinely bat-shit crazy come the credits.

2.5/5
